Frequently asked
Everything people ask before they book
Spin the wheel to read them. Drag it, flick it, or use the arrow keys.
- 01Do you wash the outside too?
- No. Interiors only, for now. No washes, no wax, no paint correction. Everything he does happens with the doors open.
- 02What does it cost?
- $50 an hour. Most cars take two to four hours, so most jobs land between $100 and $200. A genuinely rough one runs past $200, and he tells you that before he starts, not after.
- 03How long will it take?
- Two to four hours for a normal car. Heavy pet hair, ground-in stains or a full carpet extraction push it longer, because the drying and the extraction cannot be rushed.
- 04Do you come to me?
- Usually, yes. He is mobile and works out of your driveway. Some jobs are easier at his place instead, so say where you would rather have it and he will tell you which makes more sense.
- 05What do I need to have ready?
- A working hose and an outdoor electrical outlet, and enough room to open every door. If he is coming to you and you do not have both, the job has to happen somewhere else. This one is not negotiable.Required
- 06When can I get on the schedule?
- Weekends, 10am to 8pm. He wrestles and travels for meets, so the calendar moves. You send a request with your preferred day, he texts back to confirm it.
- 07Do you detail in the winter?
- Year round, but limited. Cold and wet slow the drying down, so winter jobs need a garage or a mild day. Ask and he will be straight with you about the week.
- 08How do I pay, and do you take a deposit?
- Cash, Venmo, Cash App or Apple Pay, whichever suits you, and you pay when the work is done. No deposit to book.
- 09Can you actually get the dog hair out?
- Yes. Woven-in hair is its own job and it is slow, which is why it is a $10 add-on rather than something folded into the hourly rate.
- 10Will the stain come out?
- Most of them. Coffee, soda and road salt lift with heat and extraction. Bleach, dye and long-set oil are chemical damage to the fibre, and no amount of cleaning brings those back. Send a photo and he will tell you which one you have.
- 11Do I need to clean it out first?
- Take anything valuable or personal out. Leave the trash, the cups and the sand under the mats. Clearing those is the job.
- 12Where do you work?
- Juneau. If you are somewhere on the road system here, ask and he will tell you whether he can get to you.
