01Do you wash the outside too?
Yes, since October. An exterior hand wash is $90 for cars and sedans, $105 for small SUVs and crossovers, $125 for trucks and large SUVs and $145 for oversized trucks and vans. That covers a foam pre-wash and hand wash, wheels, tires and wheel wells, a towel dry, the outside windows and tire dressing. Heavy mud is $30 and up, and heavy bugs, tar or tree sap we quote after we see it. Book it on its own or with an interior.
02What does it cost?
It depends on the job and the size. An interior detail starts at $130 for two-door cars, two-seaters and single-cab trucks, $150 for four-door cars and trucks, and $170 for SUVs and wagons. An exterior hand wash starts at $90. If the interior is really rough (big spills, stained seats, lots of dog hair) it's $30 more. Add-ons go on top, and the booking form adds it all up for you.
03How long will it take?
An interior detail takes two to four hours for a normal car. Heavy pet hair, ground-in stains or a full carpet extraction push it longer, because the drying and the extraction cannot be rushed.
04Do you come to me?
Yes, anywhere in Juneau, for $40. We can also pick it up and bring it back for $30, or you drop it at our shop at 1115 Timberline Court and we drive it home for $15. Drop it off and pick it up yourself and there's no extra charge.
05What do I need to have ready?
A working hose and an outdoor electrical outlet, and enough room to open every door. If you don't have those, no problem, just bring it to our shop.Required
06When can I get on the schedule?
Weekdays 12:30pm to 4pm and 8pm to 11pm, weekends 8am to 11pm. Pick a day when you book and we'll text you back to confirm. Some weekends fill up with wrestling meets, so the sooner the better.
07Can I get it done every month?
Yes, and it's $10 off every visit. Pick "Every month" when you book. Book anywhere from 2 to 6 months at a time. You can keep the same day each month or pick a new day each time. Cancel any time with a text.
08Do you detail in the winter?
Yes, all year. Cold and wet weather slows down drying, so in winter a garage or a mild day works best. Just ask and we'll let you know.
09How do I pay, and do you take a deposit?
Cash, Venmo, Cash App or Apple Pay, whichever suits you, and you pay when the work is done. No deposit to book.
10Can you actually get the dog hair out?
Yes. Hair that's woven into the carpet takes a while to get out, so it's a $25 add-on.
11Will the stain come out?
Most of them. Coffee, soda and road salt lift with heat and extraction. Bleach, dye and long-set oil are chemical damage to the fibre, and no amount of cleaning brings those back. Send us a photo and we'll tell you which one you've got.
12Do I need to clean it out first?
Just take out anything valuable or personal. Leave the trash, the cups and the sand under the mats. That's our job.
13Where do you work?
All around Juneau. If you're somewhere on the road system, ask and we'll let you know if we can get out to you.
