Terms
Arctic Gloss Detailing is run by Landyn Dunn in Juneau, Alaska. These are the ground rules for booking a detail, written plainly so nobody is surprised on the day.
Booking
Sending the form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. A job is booked once we text or email you back to confirm the day and time. There is no deposit.
Prices
The quote on the booking form is an estimate. The final price depends on the size and condition of the vehicle, including pet hair, smoke, mould, bodily fluids or heavy soiling. If the vehicle is very different from what was described, we will tell you the new price before starting, and you can decide not to go ahead.
Getting the vehicle ready
For a job at your place you need a working hose, an outdoor electrical outlet, and room to open every door. Please remove valuables, cash, documents and personal items before the appointment. Arctic Gloss is not responsible for items left in the vehicle.
We may decline or stop a job if the vehicle contains hazardous material, sharps, or anything unsafe to handle.
Results
Every job gets full effort, but some things cannot be fully undone: old or set-in stains, odours, fading, wear, tears, burns and existing damage. Those will be improved as far as safely possible, without a guarantee that they disappear.
Existing damage
Point out any damage, loose trim, or delicate materials before the job starts. Arctic Gloss is not responsible for damage that was already there, or for parts that fail from age or wear during normal cleaning.
If you think something was damaged during the job, contact us within 48 hours with photos so it can be looked at and sorted out fairly.
Changing or cancelling
Plans change. Text as early as you can if you need to move or cancel. Weather or scheduling can occasionally mean we have to reschedule too, and we will let you know as soon as possible.
Paying
Payment is due when the work is done, by cash, Venmo, Cash App or Apple Pay.
Photos
We may take before-and-after photos to document the job. They are only posted publicly with your permission. See the Privacy Policy.
