Privacy Policy
Arctic Gloss Detailing is a one-person mobile detailing business in Juneau, Alaska. This page says exactly what happens to the information you send through this site. It is short because the site does very little.
What gets collected
Only what you type into the booking form. That is your name and phone number, your email if you give one, your vehicle and its size, the services you picked, the days and time windows you picked (every visit, for a monthly plan), where the vehicle will be, how you plan to pay, and any notes you add.
Nothing is collected if you do not submit the form. There are no accounts and no login.
Why
To quote the job and confirm a time. We ask for your address because we drive to the vehicle, unless you drop it at our shop. The size and the extras you pick change how long a job takes and what it costs, which is why they are asked up front. The day and time you pick are held for you, so nobody else can book them.
Who else sees it
Landyn Dunn, the owner. Booking requests are not sold, rented or shared for advertising, and there is no advertising service running on this site. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. It uses no cookies and does not identify you.
A few services handle your request on the way to us, only so it can be delivered. The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes the request and keeps short-lived technical logs. The request is then sent as an email through Google (Gmail) to our inbox, and a short summary is sent to our phone as a text through our mobile carrier. Each of those companies handles the data under its own privacy policy.
Photos of your vehicle
Before-and-after photos of your vehicle are only posted on this site or social media with your permission, and never show your plate, address or anything that identifies you.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and does not build a profile of you. There is no ad network and no cross-site tracking.
How long it is kept
Booking requests are kept as long as they are useful for running the business — quoting the job, doing it, and handling anything that comes up afterwards. Ask and it will be deleted.
Getting your information removed
Text or email and say so. There is no form to fill in and no account to close.
Children
The booking form is meant for adults arranging work on a vehicle. It is not directed at children and no information is knowingly collected from them.
Changes
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it.
